Would you take seriously anyone looking like Tyra Banks?

You know, it just occured to me when I was looking at a yahoo thing about her 'wish list' about techno gadgets getting her through the day.

Awww...poor Tyra.

But then it came to me. If someone that looked like her came into your kitchen in any capacity equal or over yours...would you REALLY take her seriously?

I'm just curious.

(of course I'm focusing on mostly men <and some women...>)

So have a real go at this one. BE HONEST. YOU'RE AMONG FRIENDS!!!

It depends on what her qualifications were..if she couldn't pull her weight, it wouldn't matter what she looked like..I am speaking as a female who has worked with all men and who has seen the initial bug-eyed looks from the guys in the kitchen, but that wears off when push comes to shove, you know.

If both are equally qualified and have the exact same skill level, in regards to what I needed, then I see how they fit into the employee mix in the kitchen and how they handle themselves during a stage. While Tyra might be easier on the eyes, that's not what I am here for, and I look for the person who will help make my job easier. On the other hand, I have known some very beautiful women who can throw down in any kitchen, so why would I want to limit my options.
