That channel is not avaiable here but I am sure it will gives ideas to people in restaurants who otherwise wouldn't have thought of it.

CC what does Bourdain has to do with this?

Confused

No you didn't over react. It made me sick, I turned it off after about 10 min., but I'm sure many bought it hook, line and sinker.

The part that bothered me the most was the assumption that in every kitchen, regardless of the restaurant, the chefs are drunk and sex with co-workers is frequent.

I wonder if this was created by the tv station itself, similar to that whole blow-up engine fiasco? Did you notice that the perps tended to be the closest to the cameras and everyone else was in the background?

It makes you wonder....

Wow, CC, that's the way I feel about those dumb*** people, too. Alot things rise in support of that show. Its like jerry springer on restaurant horrer. They ruin alot of good people airing that SH** on TV. But, that's life..... or is it?

Hmm

I feel like I missed something. Was this a tv show or a news piece?

My apologies to any and all who saw When Chefs Attack. I just got back from eating whole roasted lamb in the Sahara Desert and after seeing the tape of the show wanted to immediately return--for good. CapeChef is absolutely right in pointing out that I landed on my *** though he neglected to point out that there was a pineapple positioned strategically at my prostate when I did. What a sleazy, vile, dishonest compendium of staged bits and interviews with mental defectives and pathological liars the show was...Imagine my horror as the woman who claimed to share her "love juice" (spit) with her customers, or the other one-time short-order goofs and crackhead busboys were presented as "chefs" were folded neatly in with my relatively benign book-flogging schtick. While I may richly deserve a humiliating public disembowelment like that, I can tell you only that it was excrutiating for me to watch and in no way representative of anything I've ever believed or even seen much of in the industry. The septic collection of fry-cooks and sociopaths they dragged out of Satan's larder for this show should be hunted down and drowned like rats--and if I ever see the miserable haircuts who directed and produced this bloody discharge I will cheerfully do the hokey pokey on their shattered collarbones. Again, my apologies to any and all professionals who were egregiously maligned by these swine--I will dedicate the rest of my life to quiet reflection and good works.

I guess I should identify myself for the record (though my instincts tell me a few decades of mute anonymity are called for): Anthony Bourdain (the moron who listened to his publicist and talked to those rabid jackals from WB or UPN or whoever they were) . A thousand pardons and regrets. I hope the above post mitigates my sentence.
