The best cure is a little prevention. 2 or 3 ibrubrofen (the true chef's friend), and as much water as you can hold right before you go to bed. The massive headaches are caused by dehydration, so water on.

The best cure is prevention but, after all, we're human, right?
1) Eat something, anything like nuts, a banana, a sandwich, a burger... something before you go home.
2) Before bed have one big-girl glass of water and two aspirin (don't use substitutes, use aspirin).
2) When you first wake up, GET UP and have big-girl glass of water and two aspirin.
3) Put on the coffee. Even if you don't drink it.
4) Go to bed till the coffee's done.
5) Get up, pour your coffee. Eat something. Bananas are good. (Unless your best friend Jill makes this great hangover helper that's masked as an appetizing canape.)
6) Go to brunch and drink two of your fave cocktails (a bloody mary is good).
7) Eat your entire meal. Good, bad or indiffernt.
or 8)After step three go for a run with your dog. You'll snap out of it.
Drinks to try? A Poor Man's Bloody Mary=half beer, half tomato juice. Gets the blood going. There's another one but it's made with raw egg, tom juice, tobasco, W sauce, et al and it can't be ordered in any establishment anymore. Good luck!
