| Tax time Is there anything working chefs and food service professionals can "write off" on their tax returns? I heard if you have to provide your own uniform you are allowed to deduct a certain amount. Anyone know of anything else you can deduct??? expensive gadgets and knives???, and what form do you use? Thanks.  |

 meals out, recipe development mags, books """" some food product """" Travel mileage absolutely gadgets and knives (equipment) ***It may behoove you to find an acct. and get advice. They will normally charge by the hour if you just want to check out what can be deducted. Was certainly worth it for me. |
