Yawn Happy 4th

I would just like to take this opportunity to wish all of my friends in the USA a very happy 4th of July. Just out of curiosity, is it 225 years since the declaration of independance ?

Happy 4th to all of you down there from all of us up here. Have a wonderful day!

The above statement is only accurate if there are no cheftalk members from Alaska. Are there?

Cheers.

SHows you what I know

The Declaration was adopted on July 4.

It was not actually signed by most until August 2, 1776. The last actual signature didn't hit the parchment until 1781!

That ends today's history lesson
