Dear Amy.

Specify what do you mean by saying "medieval"

You mean the exotic , superb and fascinating cuisine of the Byzantines?
The interesting but not-yet- magnificent cuisine of the Italians?
Or the English cuisine that our friend here wants to restore?

Let me know because I am interested in ancient cooking also and i have a couple of things to propose you.

My husband I have have recently rejoined in the historical recreation group SCA. My fascination with ancient cuisines has led me to the cooking guild. I have studied some but was looking for more resources. I would like to go further back into history for our persona is of the viking time period.

I would be very interested in chatting more with you athenaeus!!

Amy:

I don't know if one of these is the specific site you were asking about, but here are some websites that I have found with information about medieval cooking, and in a couple of cases, links to other sites. Sorry not to have included links, but I'm not computer literate enough yet to do that; I'm having enough trouble just figuring out how to reply to your message.

www.pbm.com/~lindahl (this site has several medieval topics on it)

www.florilegium.org (I think the person who runs this is the same one as runs the one above.)

www.sca.org (This is the site for the Society for Creative Anachronism, a medieval re-enactment group.)
