Post Food And Beverage Music

So,,, I was sitting around the table this Thanksgiving, and I was with about 20 relatives ranging in age from 2 to 86. We were discussing Chef Talk, and some of the interesting topics that are threaded through its chat room. I told them of an idea I had for the late night cafe forum and we all had a blast with it.It kind of falls in line with the culinary quiz...Here goes:

The category is FOOD AND BEVERAGE MUSIC.
We came up with some guidelines. No commercial jingles (ie. Campbells soup theme etc)because there are too many of them.
We also came up with categories:
-Band/People food names (die Cream,Spice Girls even Anita Baker and Sam Cook etc)
-Childrens food songs (ie patty cake or Turkey in the straw etc.)
-Beverage songs (ie Red Red Wine by U.B.40 etc.)
we even came up with sub categories like vegan music (glass onion, the Beatles) Sweet Songs (sugar sugar, the Archies) oldies (don't sit under the apple tree, the Andrew Sisters) You get my drift...
I might ask that the name of the band/performer be included.

My family came up with almost 75. We are still calling each other to add to the lists (the original list is on a paper napkin hanging in my office).

Ill give you some easy ones to start:
--Savoy Truffle,the Beatles
--White Chocolate Space Egg,Liz Phair
--Raspberry Beret,Prince
--The Raspberries or Pfish or Cracker

Have Fun!!!

No Smile

Under children's song I must submit "The Muffin Man". I only remember this cause I had to yell at one of my co-workers to stop singing that dang song cause it was stuck in my head.

The Candy Man (Sammy Davis Jr.) My god did I actually offer that one up?

Fat Man in the Bathtub - Little Feat (Maybe he was referring to Paul Prudhomme?) I'm reaching now aren't I?

Sticky Fingers - The Rolling Stones (C'mon that works)

Brain Salad Surgery - Emerson Lake and Palmer

Yeah, yeah I know I'm leaving......
