 Home!!
After 6 years in and out of various very busy kitchens, I am home with my son all day writting a cookbook, and more frequently pretending to be Scooby-Doo... I didn't think I missed the hussle and bussle of the kitchen, being home is nice, and I actually have been able to attend holiday dinners with my family! Then this moring the fridge's ice machine when bezerk, spilling water all over the kitchen and into the living room.... and I got so excited... I had a whole huge mess to deal with, got to call a repairman, insist that he come over immediatly, lied and said I was having a party for 50 and that this was unexceptable, like he cared!!! The point is, I went immediatly into hectic kitchen mode.... get it done, NOW, RIGHT NOW, AND DO IT RIGHT!!!! Come up with a solution, while doing 500 other things and everything about to fall down around you..... except now, instead of being concerned that $10,000 worth of fish in the fridge will be spoiled, I worry that the water flowing into the livingroom may get just the corner of my son's favorite blanket wet sending us into a turmoil that could last all day!!.......... I guess the kitchen is just in our blood!!
