Post Thanks from A. Bourdain

Thanks to everyone who took part in the live chat a while back. I wrote Kitchen Confidential with cooks, chefs--and yes--even waitrons in mind, and it's enormously gratifying that my comrades in the trenches seem to be enjoying it. I've been travelling all over--and it may pleasantly surprise you that cooks EVERYWHERE--even in Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, London, Edinburgh etc--as well as all over the US, seem to be the same kind of piratical maniacs. Those of us who love this Life of Ours are in love with the adrenalin it seems; the insane rushes, the relentless pressure, the hours and the people. Cooks Rule!

Anthony,

I think I speak for most when I say we really enjoyed chatting with you! Your book is excellent, and we hope you will be by the Cafe often to post a comment of two every now and again.

All the best!

Anthony,
Groovy chat, hope you keep doing the media route.
I usually listen to the radio in the AM at the restaurant and totally enjoyed your discussion on Talk of the Nation and On the Line. I even called! Thanks for having something to say that is fresh (and that I agree with) and having a personality!
