Default Ok, family...

Time for tough love

I'm treading, taking caretaking and cooking jobs here and there (don't get me wrong, I love it -- I feel like I am helping, and it feels good) but I have that darned dream....

I already told you about the restaurant plan -- and I am working on that. But someone nudged me and reminded me that I have a masters in biology, with an emphasis in plant research -- can a former botanical science geek and gastronomy neurotic produce something anyone would like??? I have come up with so many "titles," but I find that I can't cohere my recipes with particular themes.... LOL I have gone from aphrodisiac to herbs-r-us

Oye. I'm tired. Sorry again to bug you all, but, you are who I turn to -- and I am so grateful.

Cheers! S

Hi Botanique!

Let me say you are neurotic but I say it in a very gentle way... (kidding, joke).

What I will tell you will probably not help you in your questioning in any way but I am in the process of following my dream. I left an industry I did not believe in anymore and am trying to enter a new field: communications/teaching.

I am running out of money real fast and mostly living on credit but I am presently barely tasting the fulfilling experience I was searching for. I am letting my passion bring me to where I will fit in. I still have no idea what outcome is waiting for me either nirvana or becoming broke. We will see.
One thing for sure is it's tuff to always trust yourself that you will make it in time and although I have not drawn a line in the sand yet, I think one day I will have to.

Stevie-
Glad you are hanging in there, luv!! So what is it you WANT to do?? what is your passion? that might be a place to start... identify what you want and maybe what you don't want..... see where your thoughts go from there. It sounds like you are going to head into a speciality category .... maybe one of your own creation....... ????? the world is your oyster.. as they say (speaking of aphrodesiac....LOL)
