Default Cheese Roll, yes it's not about food

Cheese Rolling

Chase a 7-8 pound round of double gloucester down an insane hill to win the cheese. The cheese gets a 1 second head start and has achieved speeds of 70 MPH. Few finish standing.

I went there once, a number of years ago, with friends who lived in Bedfordshire... Frankly, the amount of drink that was taken means that the day remains a trifle blurred - but the photies we took turned out well!

Reminds me of the first time I attended Up Helly A in Lerwick..... Those Zetlanders can certainly put it away! Who knew hangovers could last into February?!
