Before i log off and join the festivities, just wanted to wish you all, all the best for the new year.
Whatever you wish for yourself, I wish for you.
I've a bottle of 12 year old The Glenlivet for the bells, but for now i'm perfectly happy with a generously poured black russian and no work till the 4th.
Happy Hogmany

What a nice sentiment. Happy New year... and my over-used wish:

Here's to a New Year of good food, good health and good friends.

Happy New Year, Bughut.
Hope your Hogmanay was great. Mine was...!

Mezzaluna: traditionally, we do not wish people 'Happy Hogmanay' because Hogmanay is New Year's Eve! Also, in Scotland we tend not to wish people 'Happy New Year' ahead of the day - we normally say 'A guid wan, when it comes' (a bit superstitious, I suspect!)

Thank you for the information, Ishbel. I'll try to remember that.
