Default Boss lady got a necklace

A woman comes in with 2 friends. She’d been there before on a few occasions. During dinner she calls the boss over and tells her that every time she comes in the food is always fantastic & the service is the best. To thank her for having such a wonderful place to bring her friends to dinner she wanted to give her a little something. It was a necklace with a dark green agate cabochon with hammered brass horn fittings. Something that you’d expect to find in the markets of Monrovia or Dakar. Just the style she wears to work the hostess’ station. She was thrilled. I was beaming because it quickly became a point of personal pride that she received it. I had something to do with the woman wanting to give it to her. It felt good.
