Unhappy Oh..... Tim Russert

Hearing the news of this man's death was stunning. Journalism of American politics will never be the same.

What a shock, and during such an exciting time in his life.

I was rather shocked to see the news of this as well. His approach and contributions to Political reporting will be missed. I always liked his no-bull or glitter and non candy-coated approach.

Such a great loss, so young. If he was talking I was listening. He made everything he talked about interesting. I will miss him.

Agree, wholeheartedly, with the previous posts.

I appreciated how he always focused on the real issues that face the people of America, not just silly, insignificant ones that serve only to distract from the larger, harder tasks at hand.

An example was the last debate between Obama and Clinton hosted by Gibson and Stephanopoulos (my opinion of those moderators is now firmly in the toilet). How I wished Mr. Russert had stepped in and taken over that 2 hours of wasted time.

Tim, you will be missed.
