Default Shhhh! secret meeting (website owner keep out!)

(whispering) Ok, this is a secret meeting. Don't let the owners of the site know we are chatting, k? Mods, don't say nothing!

It is almost near and we really didn't have time to get together and think what we were gonna be getting the owners of this site for Christmas.

I say we all chip in $11 each and sign up to be supporters of probably one of the best websites out there.

Wadda ya say? 1 buck a month to say thank you for being here!

Merry Christmas!
Happy Holidays!

p.s. bus. owners - talk to your accountant to see if the "gift" can be written off as a "business" expense.

I didn't realize that paying for the site was even an option. Do some people pay and others not? Is that what the yellow names are for? I don't mind contributing for the service.

You get the special name, I think they eliminate the advertising too. And you support the site.

You get quite a few perks for the 11 bucks. Dang sight cheaper than others out there with less "atmosphere".

I think I was one of the first to sign up. It's really so little for so much.

Ya, when I came upon the site, I saw the value in it. When I found out you could contribute, I did so, even though I am on a tight budget with three kidlets to feed. I had a few dollars in my PayPal account that wasn't worth transfering (fees...arg) so I passed it on to what I believe a true worthy cause.

Now, come on everybody, grease those paypal accounts open and say, "Merry Christmas", and believe you, me...not seeing those pesky ads, alone is worth it! Be a proud "Gold Name" wearer!

No Pay Pal? No excuse. I sent my membership via the Post Office. PM Nicko and he’ll send the address.
Got to love your screen name in pretty yellow letters.

P.S.: Oldschool, how come you’re getting pecks and I’m only getting perks? Gosh, my membership only comes with extra space for pictures, no adds and the snazzy “Chef Talk Supporter” designation. What do you have to do to get pecks from Nicko? Never mind, I don’t want to know.

In the upper left hand margin of the main forums page is a little place to click that says “Support Chef Talk Remove Ads” click there and it will show you the way.

Worth every penny for all the info, recipes, and chuckles you get. It's a bargain and more importantly it takes a little pressure off of those who make it possible for this site to be better than the rest.

Money is definitely tighter these days but if possible join the yellow names.
