Default Wrecked my Mustang

Driving home today, 1st rain, and spun out off of an on ramp and backed over a barbed wire fence/posts.

Had to be towed out because of all of the lumber under the car.
Passenger door has some small dents, various abrasions all around and my driver's side exhaust is tweaked about 6 inches to the left.
Once he got me off of the fence I was able to drive up onto the road, but still had it towed.

Insurance adjuster will call me Tuesday.

Man, I've taken that ramp at least 5 times a week for the 4 years I've had the Stang, no problems.
This time, I saw my spot in front of a double line of cars, then the front car started to accelerate.
There was no room behind him so I sped up too, but apparently was too intent on watching the spot and my right tire went off the road....the rest you know.

So bummed.

Rain and speed(acceleration) don't mix well, you should know better.

Glad you're OK.

I do know better.
Usually not a problem, controlled acceleration.
Just erred in judgement.

Glad to hear that you were not hurt. Accidents do happen, do not be hard on yourself, as for the car, when we really like a car, it does bother us. Chin up, you are safe and that is what counts the most.

Got the Mustang back late last week, first thing I did was get new tires.
She hugs the road again.
Was a little nervous the first time I took that ramp though.

What kind of stang do you have?

The new 2010's look pretty cool, I might have to pick one of those up.

I have an '06 GT.
The 2010's do look cool.
I'm not crazy about the shape of the taillights, but the other improvements far outweigh them.
