Default Travelling Spices - Favs?

What are your favourite spices to take when you have a trip away?

I can't do without mine...if I'm going somewhere where I may get a chance to cook, I'll take them. (Assuming you can find S&P where you're going).
They are:

Oregano - dried, either ground or leaves
Paprika - smoked
Garlic powder
Ground coriander root
Cayenne Pepper

What can't you do without?

Can't do without spice

Petals - how do you keep your dill and galangal fresh when you travel? Would guess you get it from one fridge to the next as soon as possible.

Last year we had a week away in a self contained apartment complete with kitchen - was soooo glad I had those spices with me to make the food good.

I keep an ice pack in my mini cooler bag. I bring my little treasures when I go camping, see relatives, or the fridge in my kitchenette when I go to the Thousand Islands chalet.

I also love saffron....for me,it is a happy fragrant spice.

Looks like earthy spices rule

I forgot a couple of things I like to take - boullion cubes for beef and chicken (hey I'm not gonna make stock on holidays - k? hehe).

I forgot rosemary and thyme too....look, I take a boxful of stuff, plus a favorite knife or two.
