| | Heaven in a Bowl Yes, that is what it's been described as, Heaven in a Bowl.....Chobani Greek Yogurt.
When I was recovering from surgery awhile ago, a friend of mine knew a man who made this wonderful yogurt. So to lift my spirits they brought me a gallon of this yogurt.
Needless to say , it was my first time trying it, I have been in love ever since.
Price Chopper has just started selling it. (marked new product)
Has anyone had the chance to try it ? If there are any yogurt fans out there , it is one of those yogurts you just have to experience.
If you need to know more about the product , just type the name on the web and it will bring you right to the site. |

| | I buy it at my local grocery store, I see it everywhere. Try looking for it in a few of your nearby stores. I'd be surprised if they don't have it.

| | I've got to try both Chobani and Fage. I do love yogurt (the real stuff, not Dannon etc.). |

| | Dont know if you have Lidl in your part of the world. We enjoy their produce here in the UK and I know they have one on the outskirts of Atlanta GA. Anyhoo, They do a tub of Thick, creamy greek yogurt that is the best i ever tasted. Lidl is a german based supermarket chain i think and heavily into continental produce. V V good

| | I haven't found Chobani yet but I'm having Fage for the first time. This Fage is somewhere between yogurt and yogurt cheese. I like the tangier taste of un-strained yogurt. This Fage would make a good baked potato topping, but to me it's not yogurt. |

| | Petals, have you tried Pavel's Russian style yogurt? It's my favorite so far, that I've tried.

Of course it's yogurt, it's used all over the world as yogurt, and in some parts of the world (like greece and turkey) it's the only yogurt that is known. You can't discount it as a food item just because you're not used to it or because you've never eaten it before. That would be like me saying that risotto is pretty good but to me it's just not rice because it doesn't taste or look like the rice I'm used to having. Honestly I didn't taste unstrained yogurt until I came to the states and it looks, tastes and feels like goo to me. But it would be ridiculous to go around saying that it's not yogurt.

| | I like and buy the Total yoghurt, too. It's really the authentic taste of Greece to me, probably because when I lived there, if you didn't make your own, the only choice was Fage! |

I grew up in India where some whey was drained off, but the yogurt was still pretty tangy. That's just how I prefer it. | | |
