It is a sad thing. My husband and I learned to dance with the music from Dirty Dancing, and have enjoyed many of his movies. He'll be missed.

Bummer.
I liked Roadhouse, but mostly for the Jeff Healey Band (Jeff also passed away this year).
My favorite Swayze movie was Next of Kin, the one where he played a hillbilly cop, with Liam Neeson.
Not an award winning movie, a little cheesy, but fun.

I remember watching Dirty Dancing with my friends at every slumber party I ever went to. I still watch it when it's on tv, can't get enough. He was so graceful, and he will be missed.

Roadhouse it is! Luv to learn that throat trick he literally pulled.

And it was just a couple weeks ago, they were showing pictures of how much weight he'd been putting on lately.

With almost every sick person I've known over the years, it always seems like the body makes one all out last ditch effort to heal itself, starts to seem better, and then its all over.

No offense intended. He was great, and in great shape too in Roadhouse.

Loved him in drag in "To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar" along with John Leguizamo and Wesley Snipes. It's so much fun to see super macho actors doing drag. Cracks me up every time.

Funny how much better straight guys do drag than gay fellow seem to.
Check out Terrence Stamp in "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" too.

I remember Patrick Swayze as Demi Moore's leading
man in Ghost movie. He is a lost in movie industry.
He still young and he can contribute more. It's really sad...
