Don't really quite understand the Twitter thing...unless your following a celebrity, do people really care what your doing? It's basically like a facebook update without the frills...?

I agree, but I am using it to help promote my blog. I resisted joining it for quite some time, but I need to generate all the publicity I can, on a non exsistent budget.
