Default Topic search here--is there a way to improve it?

Is there a way the search feature on this site can be improved? Sometimes I think of a question and look it up here to make sure that I'm not repeating a topic. But it seems the search feature can only look up one word at a time.

This is not at all to criticize this site that has been so much fun for me, but, it would be nice, with the many thousands of discussions that have gone on here, if I could look up for example "pork chops" and get something other than all the "pork" posts. If I could narrow it down more, I could be less boring.

If there is such an upgrade available, I'd really like it. Or, maybe I should ask instead, is there a way I can look things up better?

That limitation is true of all forum software. Pretty weak search options.

When I need a more detailed search of cheftalk, I turn to google. There are some google options on the advanced search page that let you set it to search a specific site and some other handy search combinations.

The same can be done from the default google search box with a simple site: command.

So if I wanted google to search cheftalk for the terms aluminum core, this is what I would type:

aluminum core site:www.cheftalk.com

I could force google to find aluminum core together by including quotes:

"aluminum core" site:www.cheftalk.com
