Lightbulb Wine and Cheese

I noticed there was a wine and cheese pairing class at your cooking school this past winter, can you share any great marriages with us?

Is there any beverage you should not drink with any spacific cheese?

Thank you!

Default Cheese meets Wine....Cheese meets Beer

Wines and cheese and beers all vary......but yes we have found some winners and some weiners.....

I do love fruity big thick reds with many of the age Sheep milk cheeses.

I like sweet whites with earthy mixed milk cheese

Muscat and Ice wines are amazing with the aged Cardona.

We have wineries sent us wines all the time to pair......we make an event out of it.......tell me that's not fun......

The Apple Smoke Cheddar is amazing with a Chardonnay

Don't forget the beer.........they work extremely well......for example the Coaco Cardona is amazing with a Porter

It goes on and on........

Visualize the flavors of each.....put them together in your mind.....then try them and eat and drink what you like...

Sounds great, I do like an aged scotch with an aged chedder or gouda.
a nice way to end the meal.

what about teas or coffees?
maybe your chocolate cheese?

Try the airco with Scotch....it is mixed milk, sheep, goat and cow...and smoked with apple wood.....nice.

I like ice wine or port with our aged gouda....

Bread cheese is amazing with coffee or tea.....

And I like a wheat beer with a Rye bread sandwich with the Benedictine and a slice of onion.....

Lots of good things out there...

Sid
