| Boccondivino Milano - the divine mouthful Making food and wine matching an art Affettati includes the whole range of cured pork products made in Italy. Every part of the pig is used and each region has its unique specialties. It's dangerous to be a pig in Italy. It's impossible to imagine an important meal without a full range of these meats being offered as antipasti and they are the foundation of the wonderful panini (sandwiches) which are the real fast-food of Italy. Even the smallest grocery store will have a broad selection and your order of prosciutto will be carefully sliced and wrapped, almost gift-like, to be sure that it arrives at your home in perfect condition. Please post your questions and I will be pleased to answer them. |

| This might be off on a tangent but in '75 at UC Berkeley I watched a French film entitled LE COCHON, the Pig. It depicted the butchering of the delicious animal and every body part being made into some sort of tasty dish and charcuterie. |
