Yawn Grapes

In Bordeaux, There are only five variaties of grapes that can be used to produce there wines. What are they?

Pete you are right!!By law there are only five grapes that can be used in a Bordeaux.
Lets take it a step further. In what region would you find cabernet sav, the primary grape? And where would merlot be the star? and cabernet Franc is also the star of a region

Cabernet Sauvignon: Medoc and Graves regions
Cabernet Franc: Pomerol and Saint-Emilion
Merlot: Pomerol and Saint-Emilion

I just received a handy little wine book as a gift: "Professional Wine Reference" Love it!
