Post Working at a Winery

So I've been offered a job at a winery in downtown Indianapolis (a really great part of town, just quirky enough for my tastes).

I really think I can learn a lot, about wine, about food and wine together (since the winery does 2-6 special events a week), and even shape my ideas of what makes good customer service. Since the production area is right there, I may even pick up stuff about that.

What do you think? Should I hold out for a job where I'm actually preparing food? There seem to be so many facets of this industry, and so much time to learn them all.

It sounds like something that truly interests you, so why hold out for something else? It also appears to be someplace that will inspire you, which is what it's all about, right?

Hi Shimmer,

Wine and Food do go together,

Well Glutz I decided to work in a chocolate shop/cafe instead. I think I will continue to learn about wines as a leisure activity. So much to learn!!
