Tongue Not a Quiz ;)

I'm curious.

Since Belgium is between France and Germany, why do they not have vinyards and wines? Is the climate not dry enough?

I am limited in my knowelage of Belgium wine because of the lack of public exposure. They do however excist. The only one I am familar with, although I have never tasted it is "hagelander"
It's a light , crisp wine made from the Muller Thurgau grape.
That's about all I know of these wines. I know because of the hundreds of years tradition with the trappist monks the focus has always been of top fermented, wild yeast ales
