Question What for Pete's Sake is "Hot" wine?

I just recently heard this term and wondered what it meant. I know wine is served chilled so it couldn't possibly be referring to the temperature. And here I was thinking that all there was to wine was a bunch of people taking sips at wine tastings.

"Hot" refers to a wine that is high in alcahol
