| Does anyone have a formula for the spice mix used in pumpkin pie? I have been using "Pumpkin Pie Spice" in my pumpkin eggnog cheesecakes and would like to do my own blend. |

| This is one I use in a 3 layer pumpkin pie (pumpkin custard on the bottom, whipped cream in the middle and pumpkin chiffon on the top) 1 tsp ginger 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp all spice 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp cloves 1/2 tsp salt Half of this goes in the custard and half in the chiffon so, if you are only doing the basic pie, don't use it all.
