| WOW! What talent! I can't believe those ribs are made from white chocolate... I like this quote: "drawing on my vast experience watching people in movies being disembowelled, I gave it my best shot. " |

| That had better taste very, very good! I took a human anatomy class that used cadavers. The class was for teachers who were going to educate children with physical disabilities. We were cautioned strongly and frequently to be respectful of the cadavers. Further, there are too many "cultural" trends that devalue what most of humanity considers horrifying, including murder and so forth (i.e., the slasher movies, etc.) Call me a killjoy, but for me this goes too far.

| My brother sent me this link. I actually didn't see it the way you do, Mezz. Yes, it is gross, but I saw it as a piece of art, or a biological study. As off-putting as it may be, there are artists working in other media, whose similar works are displayed in public forums (museums), and at the very least, get people talking. |

| Well, you have to admit it's pretty shocking at first. But on second glance, I could admire the art and craftsmanship. It also reminded me a little of culture behind The Day of the Dead with its sugar skulls and skeleton art. They use them to honor the dead, but also to demonstrate an acceptance of death as part of the cycle of life. Here's a link with some historical info: http://www.azcentral.com/ent/dead/history/
