| stove top "pot de creme" recipe; one in which there is no cooking in a water bath in the oven. What is he talking about? Has anyone ever heard of this and if they have could they please share the recipe? |

| Pots de Crème stove-top variation: In a stainless bowl, whisk beaten yolks w/ granulated sugar until creamy & pale. Slowly add warm cream, whisking until blended well. Place bowl over simmering water, and cook, whisking frequently, until mixture forms proper texture. Strain into pitcher; then carefully pour into custard cups. Cover and chill overnight.
