I'm going to make a rum cake with lemon curd, raspberries and pecans. Can someone give me a good frosting recipe? I don't know what would go well with this cake whether a frosting or those icings you pour on the cake..

I'm sure either would be good. For a rum cake, if i was going to frost it I'd just use a nice whipped cream with some powdered sugar and maybe some vanilla added. I made a rum cake last week and made a glaze with rum, some coconut liqueur, and powdered sugar and poured that on top.
