Default What's your favorite bread?

What's your favorite bread?
How do you prefer eat it? Sandwich, caserole, gazpacho?
Any other comments about your favorite bread?

My favorite bread is baguette
I love baguette sandwiches, just ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sprouts and soy mayonaise...salt and pepper in vegetables.

Ciabatta.. I just LOVE how chewy it is. I especially like it day old.

I like it toasted with tomato and basil tapenade, I like it with soup ladled over it,
and I especially like it as a sandwich with mayo and tomatoes and arugula, grain mustard, sprouts, sunflower seeds, and fakin bacon. And red onion. Thinly sliced.

Challah, not only is it great that day, it makes the best French toast ever the next morning. I make it constantly

Apricot bread or cinnamon raisin bread for french toast. Sweet honey wheat (Hawaiian) bread for a sandwhich.

You know, out of curiosity, I have made Anadama bread a few times, and I just love it. For those who don't know, it's a bread made with molasses and cornmeal (and the basics, flour, salt, etc..). It has that cornmeal graininess and a hint of sweetness. It's so good. I recommend you make it if you have time. It makes incredible toast!

I guess the story is, that back in the day, Anna left her husband with nothing but cornmeal and molasses, so he whipped up this bread while saying, "Anna, **** her!"
