Thumbs up Need Boston Crem Pie Recipe Please

Hi Everyone,

. I’m looking for a really good Boston Cream Pie recipe My dad’s birthday is next month and that is his favorite. I made one for him last year but it just didn’t seem to be as good as I wanted it to be.

Thanks!

Kb I don't know if you would want to do this but I have a recipe for a quick Boston Creme pie using a two layer cake and vanilla pudding mix.Just bake the cake has directed if your using a box mix. Make the vanilla pudding and place it between the two layers, melt a tub of milk chocolate icing in the microwave for about a minute then pour the melted chocolate over the cake. Its pretty good, I made it for a party and they gobbled the whole thing up except a few crumbs.I will look at Master Cook 9 and see if it has one in it. If your fathers birthday is next month you should have some time to test a few recipes.

Best Regards Cakerookie...

Kellybean could not find one on Master Cook 9 but I found this one: http://cake.allrecipes.com/az/BostonCreamPie.asp

Theres a couple more there if you want to check them out. Hope this helps.

Thanks for those ideas CR. That one with the vanilla pudding sounds awesome. That should be a breeze to make too. I like things that are easy. Things don't have to be difficult in order to be good. Thanks again.
