Post Irish Coffee Brownies

I think you guys might like this recipe; its another recipe I got from school.

2 cups (11 1/2 oz.) milk chocolate morsels, divided
1/2 cups butter
1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 Tbsp. Irish Whiskey
2 tsp. Instant Coffee
1 cup flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small saucepan over small heat, combine 1 cup of the chocolate morsels and butter; stir until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth. Cool to room temperature.

In a large bowl, combine sugar and eggs; beat until thick and lemon-colored. Gradually add chocolate mixture and vanilla extract.

In a cup, combine the whiskey and coffee; stir until dissolved. Add this to the chocolate mixture. Gradually blend in flour. Pour into a foil-lined 8-inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Immediately sprinkle remaining 1 cup of chocolate morsels on top of this. Let stand until morsels are shiny; spread evenly. Cool completely and cut into 2-inch squares.

Enjoy!
