Yawn

figaro you are in the right place. as a grad of j&w, that would be the school i would reccomend. what are your finances, age and ability to travel? local tech colleges are a great place to start or get a job as an apprentace in a bakery/patisserie, restaurant, hotel, etc.
tell us a little of what you are looking for.
welcome and thanks for the question.

I graduated from L'Academie de Cuisine in pastry arts and I was very happy with how things were done. I checked into several culinary schools including J & W, CIA, BIC (what a joke!), The Restaurant School, etc. and L'Academie offered exactly what I needed to know for a reasonable tuition.

As I sit here in the library of the CIA, I have to suggest that you at least visit the campus and give the CIA consideration. I am 4 months away from graduation in the Baking and Pastry program and would HIGHLY recommend it!!!!! The chefs are the best...they are patient, experienced and VERY willing to answer all of your questions. Come learn with and from the best!!

An important factor is where you want to go to school. Have you narrowed it down?
