| I would love a recipe for cookies that are like the sugar cookies you see in bakeries specialy decorated and are like 1/2 inch thick and the edge is straight up and down. So they don't spread at all and they keep every shape. When you look at the sides or edges they almost look like layered dough like pastry. Anyway is anyone able to help? |

| how about trying a shortbread recipe? something that doesnt contain leavening. |

| Suger dough home use amounts SUGAR 4 ozs BUTTER 8 oz cream together. 1 egg & dash of vanilla mix then add 12 ozs all purpose flour, mix to combine. bake 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minute depending on size. Last edited by ChefRAZ : 10-10-2007 at 12:12 AM. Reason: home use numbers |
