MMMMM I love petit four cake. So, you just want to make it out of chocolate? It is a bit more perishable so you couldn't mail them or anything.

If you want a recipe for the cake, I can give it to you, but they aren't very portable unless you do a really good job of coating the cake with chocolate (traditionally white). I like it with bitter orange marmalade.

Could you explain again what you have in mind... "but using chocolate"?

Hey - tincook would be perfect for this - I needed advice for an English tea and he/she ( we haven't established which!) was a WEALTH of knowledge - also you might want to pick shroomgirl's brains!! - an absolute oasis of knowledge there!

I was thinking of a cake style, nothing to fancy as I have never made them before, although I have made my share of various cakes.... I thought of doing a chocolate embelishment on top, curls things of that nature

any recipies appreciated!!
