| This is my boyfriend's favorite dessert recipe, and if I remember correctly, his mother taught him this recipe. 3 cups flour 3 cups sugar 1 cup milk 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 lb. butter 5 eggs, separated 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. almond extract Separate eggs. Beat whites until stiff; set aside. Cream together sugar, butter and egg yolks. Add flour and baking powder, alternating with milk. Add the extracts. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I and my boyfriend do! ![]()

| Has anyone tried this recipe since the time I posted it? I was just wondering because this seems to be my boyfriend's favorite dessert recipe and he makes it almost all the time. He did when he was still living with me and my brothers! ![]()
