Default Question about making cake batter

Hello,

Would it be okay if I make my cake batter ahead of time, maybe the night before I need to bake my cakes? The reason being, It will save me a lot of time, as I need to bake about 8 cakes.

Thank you,
George

No, I don't think that would be good for cakes . Because of The Baking powder or soda inside the mix. mix it with liquid and you have to get it into the oven as soon as you can. let it sit for any long amount of time and your cake will not rise well.
