Default Martha Stewart's Cookies

I posted this yesterday under book reviews but their hasn't been any responses. I figured that since it was about cookies there may be a better response here.

Hello Everyone,

I was just wondering if anybody has this book and what they think of it. I watch her show a lot and the last two cookie recipes looked AWESOME. I love to bake and make verious cookies, candies and cakes as gifts.

I can't help with Marth's cookies, but think you made a wise choice to move your inquiry to this forum. Somebody's bound to have baked them

Dont have that one, but love the 101 Easy Peasy Cookie book.
(amazon)
No frills, just cookies that you can bake at home, with the kids or friends.

"It's no secret that I'm a Martha fan and I was so excited about her new Cookie book coming out. Well, it came today and I am no longer so excited. I jsut wanted to give a heads up to anyone who is thinking about getting it. It's not that it isn't a beautiful book, it's just that of 175 recipes, over 100 of them are printed...some even with the same pictures that she had in her special edition Cookie magazine from 2006. Most of the other recipes look like they come from her magazine. Nothing new or exciting to be had here.
If you never had that cookie magazine, this would be a good purchase.
Just an FYI."

THe above is a review from another cooking board I visit. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much lentil. As I mentioned before. I saw the shows that were on for cookie week and a few of the recipes looked pretty yummy but I deffinately don't need to clutter up any more space then I already have with more books. I'll look into the magazines instead.

Thanks Again.
Kelley
