Default Uh oh didn't follow recipe instructions for Frosting

Firstly--Hello all, I'm new here!

Secondly--I failed to follow simple 1-line instruction to making a cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients were: Cream Cheese, Whipped Topping, and Confectioners' sugar. I was supposed to beat the cheese and sugar, and then fold in the topping, but absentmindedly beat everything with my electric mixer.

I'm afraid now that the frosting might be too soupy (I have it in the fridge now, hoping it will set a little). Is there a way to salvage it?

Thanks in advance!
