tiriamisu cupcake

i just heard about a tiriamisu cupcake on martha show. I have never seen or tasted one before. Considering downloading the recipe and making this soon, but wouldn't the espresso syrup soak the tiny cupcakes..soggy? anyone have any tips or recipes with sucess? I just need to get some vanilla bean and mascarpone before making them. thanks
