Default French pastries project

Hello, my name is Viktor and
I study for becoming a pastry chef in a school in Sweden. This will be our last year in school.
This year we need to do a project, we decided to make a project about the 10 most popular pastries in France.
We are trying to find out which pastries are most common in France? I was wondering, since there obviously must be some pastry chef here :P, are the most common/popular in France?
Maybe you guys could list the 10 most popular you think, we are using polls and asking various pastry chefs around the world aswell as asking schools so that we will get an much correct picture as possible.

Thank you very much!!
