Question Barley Malt

I have this bread recipe asking for malt;there wasn't any so I purchased Barley Malt.
Can someone give me a bread recipe and some information about this please?
I hear malt is the secret for a great bread.I use the bread machine to do what my arms can't do and I the shape and bake in the oven.I went into Google but could not find too much info.
Thank you.

Rita,

Here are a wealth of bread recipes using "barley malt" for you.

There is a reference to it's attributes here.

For some more insight on it's characteristics, browse here.
