| Canned bread has been around for a long time. I remember my mom buying a can of Boston brown bread once when I was a kid. I think it was B&M brand. It was OK. Not quite as flashy as the new Japanese brand. Like the ad says- take it mountain climbing!

| It reminds me of the sweet bread that were available in cans when I was a kid. They weren't too bad, as far as I can remember. I think it was a British product.

| I don't think it's as evil as it sounds. Boston Brown Bread is baked/steamed in cans and is delicious. Could sealing it cause that much harm? ![]()

| The source is in your backyard! Hi-Rise Bakery in Cambridge. The formula is in Artisan Baking Across America. It's a quick bread. Ya dump all the stuff in the cans and toss 'em in the oven.
