I'm a new wife.
Tried to make an angel food cake yesterday from a recipe.
Box confetti cake mix, added in 1 T orange peel zest (dried), drained liquid from 15 oz. mandarin orange can and added enough water to make 1.25 cups of water. Mixed, baked 425 for 45 min....looked brown and cracked on top. Inverted on a bottle and it came out all over. What did I do wrong?
