I have an Italian recipe for Sausage with peppers & onions that calls for 1 cup of Marsala wine in the sauce. What can I substitute for Marsala if we don't drink wine or I can't find it in the store?
I'm a new wife. Tried to make an angel food cake yesterday from a recipe. Box confetti cake mix, added in 1 T orange peel zest (dried), drained liquid from 15 oz. mandarin orange can and added enough water to make 1.25 cups of water. Mixed, baked 425 for 45 min....looked brown and cracked on top. Inverted on a bottle and it came out all over. What did I do wrong?
