| We've now entered into the time of year when many of our wait staff personnel like to take some time off to enjoy themselves before they return to school. And I envy them! What is your secret to combat the vacancies left by these wonderful people? Several years ago, I advertised for a particular type of Manager and was fortunate enough to field many "in person" responses. All said, I hired a person for the position; and delegated many duties including that of maintaining aequate levels of wait staff personnel. So whom do I pat on the back? We've not been short staffed since? "If you want things to change, you must change. If you want things to get better, you must get better." |
