If you do not own the Beatles White album, I think you all got lost some where along the way. I am not saying that I am a Beatles freak, but that is a classic, it"s the white album. Talk to you guys soon.

The Beatles are a good group but I don't own any albums, CD's of them. I'm not into that kind of music. And Elvis has left the building!!!!
Does any one like Iron Maidens' new album "Brave New World" I love it!!!

PHISH! PHISH! PHISH!

After that, Radiohead, Morphine, Green Day, Moe, God Street Wine, Tom Waits.

And I do like the new Iron Maiden album...

No Smile

Can we all say the word "eclectic"? You could fill a music store with the selection I've read here! To betray my age, I actually saw the Beatles in concert when I was a mere slip of a lass - I screamed myself silly, but they still hold onto a warm place in my heart. I saw Hendrix in concert, and Rod Stewart was still with the Butterfield Blues Band when I saw him. Geez, get me my cane!

I listen to a wide variety as well - Bob Marley's playing in the background, but he's getting followed up by Solas (an Irish band).

Dlachase - have you ever heard Carl Orff's piece, I think it's called "Street Music"? As far as I know there was only one recording made of it, my local public radio station used to play it a lot but I think they wore it out.

What ever fits the mood, Loreena McKennitt, Sonia Dada, Gypsy Kings, Lowen and Navarro - who can pick a favorite? It's like figuring out what your absolutely favorite food is!

No MaryeO I am not familiar with "Street Music". I am unhappy about not being able to get any public radio reception in my kitchen, even with the foil studded hanger.

Oh for the sweet sound of Mongolian Throat singing.

The owner of my restaurant used to insist we play only classical during srevice. now at least on week days I got hin to play joni mitchell monday and james taylor on tuesdays. But as soon as he leaves I tend to put on Chili Peppers and crank it up. Funny business seems to do better then!

Well the last post here is a month old but since I'm new..... I have been playing guitar for over 20 years now so I lean towards guitar driven music like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Clapton Beck and Page, Steve Vai, Jan Akkerman,Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepard, John McLaughlin, Pink Floyd, Little Feat, New York Dolls, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Roy Buchanan, Johhny Winter, and my favorite guitar player of all... ME! I could go on and on but I'll stop here. Thanks for asking.
