Default Any Personal Chefs out there??

I am a Personal Chef, just starting out in my own business...I was wondering if there were any other Personal Chefs on the board.

Default Yes...

Hi there... check out my website...
www.personalchefara.com
If I can be of any assistance let me know... 35 years in the field and 2 years at Glion / Switzerland... of course keeping up with all the new trends and techniques...
Naples, Florida, is a fine place to be a "Personal Chef" as I have many clients for years now... but my desire is now to teach... my other passion is to tour on my BMW GS motorcycle... I want to combine both and start teaching in various towns... 3 to 6 students for a week or two or whatever it takes... all the little secrets and techniques that I have develloped over the years...
Be well...
Ara

Hey, I just started too, made the decision only a couple weeks ago. I'm in the NW 'burbs of Chicago. Have you joined any associations? I started out with Personal Chef's Network...great group. Good luck!

I've been going at it for a little over a year now. I love it, every day is something new. My favorite part is doing classes or parties.

I pc'd for 8.5 years.....decided that catering was more interesting to me. As a single mom, personal cheffing got me through fiscally when my sons were in school. 4 days a week, essentially school hours.....it was a great experience.
I did not join any groups, but had the fortune to talk to others around the country that had been doing versions of it for a while. It always amazed me that I could walk into a home, meet someone for the first time and they would hand me a blank check and keys to their home.

The PCN is a great group...

I have been affiliated with them for quite a few years now and work together with them now between both of our websites...

The most admirable thing about PCN is the networking aspect of the organization, there are some other assn's that give you good information, but they wind up taking your money, giving you the information, and then leaving it at that. PCN makes sure that you realize that you are a part of a family not just another member of another organization and they are always susceptible in helping with any questions/situations that you may have...

Tell em Cheffy said Hi....
