Hello, I am curious to learn what software products are used out there in the real world. I am familiar with FoodTrak, ExecuChef, and ChefTec. What do you all use and why? Thanks, Mark

I use MasterChef by Sierra, the reason. I got it cheap at Costco. It works for me.

Microsoft Excel is a godsend! With it I have created scheduling sheets, payroll sheets, inventory sheets, recipe forms, and yield sheets. It allows me to create forms that I need to my own specifications. Sure I cant do everything with it but it provides me with about 90% of the things I need. I am looking for a nutruitional software program where I can type in my recipe and it will break it down for me.

Hi Pete, If you are looking for inexpensive nutritional software MasterCook 5.0 is the way to go. It runs about $30.00 and has a large database of nutritional information. You just enter your recipes and it will spit out all the nutritional info you should need. If you have any questions, email me. Mark
